The New Paltz Garden Club is a 501c3 non-profit organization
dedicated to beautifying our community, sharing knowledge,
plants, and friendship since 1946.
Our yearly calendar includes programs such as lectures, trips,
demonstrations, workshops, flower shows, plant swap, garden
tours, and Table Carousel. Active members maintain three
public gardens and flower tubs at the New York State Thruway.
We support Family of New Paltz, donate books to the Elting Library
and the Gardiner Library, and give a yearly $1000 scholarship to a
graduating New Paltz High School senior who is pursuing a college
degree in Horticulture or Environmental Science.
Each year, we give civic beautification awards and support other
community endeavors. The New Paltz Garden Club has received
many awards for our support of World Gardening (AKA "Water for
South Sudan").
JOIN OUR FRIENDLY AND PRODUCTIVE GROUP!
Interested persons can become active members after attending
two regular meetings. Annual dues for active membership are
$20. Members serve on one hospitality committee a year and are
scheduled to work in one of the garden areas.
COME TO A MEETING!
Meetings are held on the 3rd Monday of each month at 7:00 p.m.
at Deyo Hall, 18 Broadhead Avenue in New Paltz, N.Y. We do not
meet in Jan., Feb., July, or Aug. unless there is a trip or special
event. Refreshments are provided by a rotating committee of
members after each meeting.
